Black Bean and Corn Salsa Chicken
Black Bean Corn Salsa Chicken:
INGREDIENTS:
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (14 ounce) can corn, drained
1/2 package taco seasoning (about 1 tablespoon)
1/2 cup salsa
1/3 cup water
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Serve on Tortillas
3 Ingredient Pulled Pork
Recipe Adapted From: The Blond Cook’s 3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
3 Ingredient Pulled Pork:
1 (4 pound) pork roast
24 ounces (2 cans or bottles) root beer
1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce
Frozen Rolls
Kalua Pork
Recipe Adapted From: Six Sisters’ Stuff Kalua Pork and Rice Bowls
Kalua Pork:
INGREDIENTS:
1 (2-4 pound) pork shoulder roast (fat trimmed)
1 Tablespoon sea salt
1 Tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
Serve on tortillas or on rice (rice is not on the shopping list)
DIRECTIONS:
Place everything into a freezer meal bag. When ready to cook, take everything out of the plastic bag.
Cook in Slow cooker 10 hours on low.
Cook in Instant Pot: 70-90 minutes.
Italian BBQ Chicken
Recipe Adapted From: Mom Saves Money Italian BBQ Chicken
Grilled Italian BBQ Chicken
1 cup Italian salad dressing (about ½ bottle)
1 bottle of barbecue sauce
4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Mix all ingredients into a freezer-safe bag.
Stick in the freezer. I like to lay as flat as possible until frozen, then you can stack them.
If frozen, let thaw in the fridge for the day or even overnight.
To Cook:
Grill on a medium hot grill for a few minutes on each side.
Bake in a greased 400 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes depending on thickness of the chicken. (Note: Internal temperature will be 165 degrees when fully cooked.)
3 Ingredient Beef Tacos
Recipe Adapted From: The Frugal Foodie Mama’s 3 Ingredient Crock Pot Beef Tacos
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound of lean ground beef, cooked and drained
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 (10 ounce) can of tomatoes & green chiles (like Rotel)
Cook in Instant Pot: 5 minutes (you will need to add 1/3 cup of liquid before cooking it)
Serve with tortillas, cheese, salsa and your other favorite toppings.
Instant Pot Cream Cheese Chicken
Recipe Adapted From: Six Sisters’ Stuff Instant Pot Cream Cheese Chicken Pasta
Instant Pot Cream Cheese Chicken
INGREDIENTS:
4 to 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz package of Cream Cheese
1 package of Italian Dressing Dry Mix
2 cups of chicken broth
1 (16 ounce) package Penne pasta
Cook in Instant Pot: 25 minutes
Serve with cooked penne pasta
3 Ingredient Chili
Recipe Adapted From: I Heart Naptime’s Easy 3 Ingredient Chili
1 pound ground beef , cooked and drained
15 ounce can chili beans , undrained
10 ounce can diced tomatoes with green chiles, undrained
DIRECTIONS:
Mix the meat, beans and tomatoes together in a Freezer Bag. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Enjoy with your favorite toppings such as cheese and sour cream.
Buffalo Chicken Pockets
Recipe Adapted From: Family Table Treasures’ Buffalo Chicken Football Pockets
1 (8 ounce package) Cream cheese
4-6 chicken breasts
1/2 Cup Frank’s Red Hot sauce or your favorite buffalo sauce
1 Cup Shredded cheddar cheese
Frozen Rolls
*1/2 cup of water (if cooking in the Instant Pot)
Place chicken, cream cheese, and hot sauce into a freezer meal bag. When ready to cook, take everything out of the plastic bag.
Cook in Instant Pot: Add 1/2 cup of water before cooking in the Instant Pot. Cook for 25 minutes if frozen.
Let the rolls thaw until no longer frozen but still cold. Add a little bit of the buffalo chicken mixture and cheese into the rolls. Fold up all sides and pinch at the top. Cook at 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes or until the tops are golden.
Instant Pot Italian Meatballs
Recipe Adapted From: The Butter Half 15 Minute Instant Pot Italian Meatballs
Italian Meatballs Sliders:
INGREDIENTS:
1 bag frozen meatballs
1(26 oz jar) pasta sauce
Mozzarella Cheese
Frozen Rolls
Place meatballs, and pasta sauce into a freezer meal bag. When ready to cook, take everything out of the plastic bag.
Stove Top: Cook on the stove top until everything is heated through.
Let the rolls thaw and rise.
Cook on package directions until browned on top. until no longer frozen but still cold.
Once cooked, add 2 meatballs to each roll along with some mozzarella cheese.
Baked Ziti Freezer Meal
Recipe Adapted From: Six Sisters’ Stuff Baked Ziti Freezer Meal
Baked Ziti
INGREDIENTS:
1 (16 ounce) package Ziti pasta (or Penne pasta)
1 onion (chopped)
1 pound lean ground beef
pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder, to taste
1 teaspoon onion powder, to taste
2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
1 (8 oz) cream cheese
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS:
Cook your pasta in a pot or Instant Pot until cooked.
On the stove top, brown ground beef, onion, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder over medium heat then drain grease.
Add the cream cheese and cook until melted.
Add spaghetti sauce, and simmer until heated through.
Spray 2 8 x 8 inch pans with non-stick cooking spray.
Layer as follows in each pan: 1/4 of the pasta, 1/4 of the meatsauce sauce, 1/4 of pasta, 1/4 of the meatsauce, 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese on top.
You can freeze in aluminum pans, or cook right then.
Bake covered for 30 minutes in the preheated oven (350 degrees), or until cheeses are melted.
Thaw first in the fridge for the best results.
