Growing up, I did not like hamburgers. Every time we’d go out to eat, I would cry until I got chicken nuggets. I finally tried them again when I was a teenager and I realized what I had been missing out on. I can honestly say they are now one of of my favorite foods! I can’t get enough of them. I’ve been taste-testing a lot of them lately (I’ve got years of catching up to do!).
I had a guacamole bacon burger from Carl’s Jr. a few weeks ago, and I’ve been craving one ever since. I refuse to pay $6 for another burger when I can easily make three times as many for the same price, so I whipped up these babies in my kitchen. They were seriously delicious, and the combination of guacamole, pepper jack cheese and bacon is perfect!
