HOW TO MAKE WHITE CHOCOLATE PUDDING FRUIT DIP
Step 1: In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, milk, and lemon juice and mix well.
I used a whisk to do this, but you could use a spoon, hand mixer, or whatever you have on hand.
Step 2: Fold in Cool-Whip and mix until completely incorporated.
When folding in Cool-Whip, you want to be sure you aren’t beating it. You don’t want it to lose it’s texture so carefully fold and gently combine the cool whip to the first mixture.
You also want to be sure you have completely thawed your cool whip.
Step 3: Serve with your favorite fresh fruit or even graham crackers or vanilla wafers.
I love serving mine with both fruit and crackers. You’d be surprised with what all goes with this White Chocolate Fruit Dip.
I am not going to say or admit I did this… but I would recommend dipping an Oreo in the dip. It may just change your life.
STORY BEHIND THE DIP
Today is a bittersweet day for me.
My sisters and I started this blog over three years ago, at a time when we lived very far away from each other (one sister was in Missouri, one sister was in Minnesota, and the rest of the sisters were spread throughout Utah).
Then after our first year of blogging, the heavens parted and by some miracle, we were brought back together and for two years, we all lived within an hour of each other.
It was been an amazing two years. We get together with our sisters at least once a week (sometimes more) and not only are we really best friends, but our children are best friends.
Many of them are the same age (we tend to get pregnant at the same time, must be something in the water), and they all get along really well.
But, all good things must come to an end. Today, Kristen is driving her three girls across the country to Indiana where they will live for the next year.
Her husband is doing his residency at a local hospital and while I am so excited for them and their family, I am also so sad to have her be so far from me.
Thank goodness for modern technology.
The past week or so we have been trying to squeeze in as much family time as possible.
Our cute mom loves to party, so she purchased one of those huge inflatable water slides and the kids have been in heaven.
This was taken at the end of the day, after we had been in the hot sun and had a big lunch.
This dip was one of the treats that I brought to the party, and there were some sisters who were eating it out of the bowl with a spoon.
So serve it with fruit or eat it on it’s own- either way is delicious.
