How to make BBQ Bacon Pulled Pork:
- Place pork roast in the slow cooker and put onions on top of the pork roast. Pour 1 cup of BBQ sauce on top of the roast, then pour on Coca-Cola.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or until it is fall apart tender.
- Shred pork and add bacon bits.
- Mix well and let the bacon bits get warmed through.

When we make this pork recipe, we tend to stick to a 4-5 lb pork tenderloin or roast. However, you can also use a pork shoulder as well, especially if you already have one ready to go!
If your pulled pork seems to be a bit too sweet, you can always add a little bit of apple cider vinegar or liquid smoke to cut the sweetness a bit, or even a little bit of hot sauce or smoked paprika if you enjoy a little kick in the dish. However, I would avoid using anything like soy sauce or coconut aminos as it might make the pulled pork too salty.
