How long to cook country style ribs in an Instant Pot?
We recommend 25 minutes and then natural release for another 10 minutes, but you have to be sure to add time for the Instant Pot to come to pressure as well.
So, plan on the BBQ Country ribs to be in the Instant Pot for about 40 minutes or so in total.
But, if you ask me, that is NOTHING for these fall of the bone, finger-licking, absolutely amazing ribs! Once you try them, you’ll agree too.

How to make Instant Pot BBQ Country Ribs:
Rub the ribs down on all sides with the BBQ seasoning.
After you season the ribs you will want to cut them into 3-4 rib sections to help them it in the Instant Pot and then set them aside for now.
Then, you are going to pour in the apple juice, liquid smoke, and vinegar in the bottom of the Instant Pot.
Once you have done that, place the trivet into the bottom of the Instant Pot (your Instant Pot should have come with one but if not you can find one here!).
Now, place the ribs on the trivet trying to not overlap them too much.
Then, cover the ribs by returning the lid back to the Instant Pot and turn it to lock it into place.
Also, be sure that the knob is turned to the “SEALING” position.
Once all of that has been done, press the “MANUAL” or “PRESSURE COOK” button and set the timer for 25 minutes.
When the ribs are done cooking let the Instant Pot sit for another 10 minutes to let it naturally release some of the pressure, and then turn the knob to the “VENTING” position to finish with a quick release and take the lid off once the pressure is out.
It is time to preheat the broiler to low heat, and then remove the ribs from the Instant Pot and move them to a baking sheet that is lined with aluminum foil.
Before putting the ribs into the broiler, spread the BBQ sauce on top of the ribs. After that is done, place them into the broiler for 3-4 minutes until the sauce begins to caramelize.
You will want to watch the ribs closely to avoid them burning or drying out.
Once they are done in the broiler take them out and serve them will all of the wonderful sides you prepared and enjoy!
