I have a new addiction. I can’t get enough of this Apple Salsa. I don’t know about you, but we have so many apples from our apple tree, and I’m running out of way to use them before they go bad.
I have tried apple slaws, and always thought they were so yummy on sandwiches and various fresh tacos, but have never tried apple salsa.
I through together a batch and they tasted absolutely amazing. It was incredibly easy to make and only required a few simple ingredients. It is no my go to salsa recipe, especially with all these apple I have lying around.
I promise, apple salsa is not going to disappoint.
This salsa so easy to make, and it tastes absolutely AMAZING. Definitely a must try.
how could i make this salsa more spicy?
I am not much of a spice person, however, my husband can’t get enough heat. He love his food to be really spicy, my tongue just can’t handle it.
If you are looking to increase the heat of this pretty mild salsa, I recommend adding some jalapeño peppers to it.
We would recommend using fresh jalapeños, not canned, for their fresh flavor. Where everything else in the salsa is fresh, it may taste a little weird to add some canned ingredients to the mix.
You could also add some cayenne pepper to the mixture as well to take the heat to the next level.
could I blend this salsa?
For this recipe, the directions explain to finely chop all the ingredients. I personally like my fresh salsa a little more chunky, where you can see what you are eating clearly, but you could blend it up if you prefer a smoother texture.
