Finding something to eat for lunch that is not a peanut butter and jam sandwich is always so hard for me! I usually try and keep my lunch pretty healthy but salads get old after awhile.
I’ve always been a big fan of tuna, especially when I was pregnant (in moderation, don’t worry!). I tried it in so many ways and this is by far my favorite. I love these Avocado Tuna Lettuce Wraps because I can get in a full serving of vegetables, plenty of protein, and they are so much more filling than a salad.
I wrapped these up in lettuce, but I’ve also dipped Pretzel Thins or crackers in this tuna avocado salad. These Avocado Tuna Wraps are great with a variety of different vegetables mixed in! Add what you love and you really can’t go wrong!

Frequently Asked Questions
When I make lettuce wraps, I prefer to use large romaine lettuce leaves because the leaves are long and easier to “wrap” around the meat. They are also the perfect size for holding in your hand and create more of a “taco” feel. However, a lot of people love iceberg lettuce because it is so crisp and adds a nice texture. It is also a little harder to roll. Boston lettuce and butter lettuce are also a great choice that many people love.
Lettuce wraps are much lower in calories than bread, and they are very fresh.
Iceberg lettuce is the most common crisphead lettuce variety.
