Eating vegetables has honestly never tasted so delicious. I even took seconds, which is saying something, because I am not a veggie lover.
what other vegetables could i use besides zucchini?
This recipe calls for zucchini, but you could easily replace it with a different favorite vegetable.
Here are a few that we recommend:
-Broccoli
-Carrots
-Cauliflower
-Green Beans
-Squash
why does this recipe call for honey?
This recipe calls for honey because it is a natural sweetener. With their being lots of sodium and some sugar in the teriyaki sauce you are probably using, it could use a little more sweetening.
If you don’t have honey, or are looking for an alternative, you could also use a sweetener or sugar. Both would work just as well.
If you do use a gradual sweetener, we recommend cooking it in the sauce separately, to help dissolve it, and smooth out the sauce a little better.
