My husband and I live right in the heart of Downtown LA. At first, it was a little frightening, but now I am really starting to love it.
One of my favorite places to eat is just down the street from us, and it’s called, Bottega Louie.
Seriously, their macaroons are to DIE for, but they are famous for their portobello mushroom fries. Oh my laws. They are INCREDIBLE.
I came home and remade them within a week. I used our Baked Zucchini Fries recipe and just made a few tweaks.
They were a definite hit with my husband and I. We ate them served with garlic aioli, but they’re good with ketchup, too.
what else could I dip these Baked portobello mushroom fries in?
I love these mushroom fries and dipping them in garlic aioli is life changing, however there are a few other dipping sauces that would also taste amazing with these fries.
Here is what we recommend:
-Marinara Sauce
-Alfredo Sauce
-Honey Mustard Sauce
-Ketchup
-Fry Sauce (It’s a Utah favorite that consists of a combination of ketchup and mayo)
-Chick Fil a Sauce (we have this recipe on our site. Click HERE, to view recipe).
-Barbecue Sauce
-Steak A 1 Sauce
-Buffalo Sauce
-Ranch
You could really dip these in any of your favorite dipping sauces. My husband loves when I make these with steak. He devours it right up, and loves dipping his Mushroom fries in the leftover steak sauce.
These are delicious. You have got to try them.
