Our Easter dinner would not be complete without a big ham.
The ham usually leaves us with a ton of leftovers, which I love using in lots of other leftovers in the upcoming weeks.
So, while ham is really inexpensive and on sale this time of year, grab one and bake it up!
Eat what you can for dinner, then portion out 1 pound portions, place in resealable gallon-sized plastic freezer bags, and save for another day.

Here at Six Sisters, we pride ourselves in crafting recipes tailored for busy moms and families, especially during the holiday season, and we can’t say enough about our Citrus Glazed Ham recipe. It requires simple ingredients and the recipe itself is easy to follow.
Now, let’s talk about that leftover ham, shall we? It can be transformed into any number of tasty dishes. Your creativity is the only limit. When dealing with any kind of ham—pre-cooked, fully-cooked ham, bone-in, spiral cut, or your ham of choice from the grocery store across the street—there’s a world of possibilities. It all depends on the size of your ham.
For a succulent finish, ensuring your ham retains its moisture is key. After scoring a diamond pattern of 1-inch intervals, brush the marmalade mixture over the ham then wrap it snugly in aluminum foil and allow it to it rest in a baking dish or on a roasting rack. Basting the ham with the orange glaze, at the right oven temperature, will result in a mouthwatering, caramelized finish. It’s crucial that you allow the glaze to boil at low temperature until it achieves a syrupy consistency. This will allow for easy basting. Store the rest of the glaze in the fridge for up to 4 days. It’s normal for the glaze to thicken slightly when chilled. Give it a stir and warm it in the microwave to bring it to room temperature For lovers of bone-in ham, laying it flat side down in a large roasting pan, and slicing it in spiral cut fashion before placing it in a preheated oven will ensure it cooks evenly as you continue basting it with the remaining glaze.
