They come together in minutes and taste absolutely amazing.
how ripe should my banana’s be, to make this recipe?
Banana’s can be tricky. I personally like mine all yellow, with just a tiny hint of green on the ends. I don’t like them when they get brown spots.
However, did you know, that the more brown the banana, the sweeter they are? They have had more time to accumulate and create their own natural sugar.
For this particular recipe, any type of banana will do, but I prefer them a little more ripe with just a few brown spots.
Any banana will work, but for this particular recipe, if the banana’s are a little more ripe, they taste delicious, when combined with the honey and coconut.
how to cook the bananas:
Step 1: Heat the coconut oil in the skillet, at medium high heat. Watch it closely to be sure it doesn’t burn.
Step 2: Add the sliced bananas to the coconut oil. Flip after 2 minutes, and let the other side cook for 2 minutes. I used a fork to flip them.
Step 3: Remove from heat after both sides are golden brown and drizzle with the water and honey concoction. Drizzle it over the bananas.
Step 4: Sprinkle the cinnamon and coconut shreds over the bananas, and serve immediately.
how long doe these last?
These bananas only last for one day. They don’t stay well for very long, so we recommend eating them immediately after making them.
