I sometimes really struggle each raw vegetables without a dip . . . but dips can be loaded with so many calories and fat that it kind of defeats the purpose of eating vegetables. Ha ha!
I have been trying to find a dip that I could buy at the store that was healthier, but as I looked at the ingredient labels, they were loaded with so many ingredients that I couldn’t even pronounce! I decided that I should just make my own. This dip really does come together in a matter of minutes and the fresh taste is awesome. My kids loved it with their carrots and I loved cucumbers and grape tomatoes dipped in it. The wonderful thing is that you don’t need to feel guilty about inhaling the entire bowl – it’s pretty good for you!
When it comes to Greek yogurt, I am super picky. I don’t like it to be too “tangy” or “gritty.” For this recipe, I used Fage Plain Greek Yogurt and it worked awesome!
