My husband was the one who introduced me to beans. I always thought that you needed meat in your main dish to get your protein.
Luckily I had a husband who pushed the beans and now I’m in love with them too. Not to mention they are so fast and easy. I made this baby for lunch in about 5 minutes flat.
It was so easy to make, and was full of flavor. I am a huge meat eater, so I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this wrap was.
The cleanup was also a breeze, which is music to any mothers ears.
What toppings would be good on this wrap?
I am a huge topping person. Especially if I can sneak vegetables into my diet, without eating them plain, I am one happy girl. Here are a few of my favorite additions to these wraps
-Lettuce
-Spinach
-Sprouts
-Cucumber Slices (sliced very thin)
-Carrot Shreds
-Celery (sliced very thin)
-Olive Slices
-Tomato
-Banana Peppers
-Avocado
-Jalapeno Slices (without the seeds)
-Plain Greek Yogurt
What meat would be good with this?
I am a huge meat eater. So if I can add meat to it, I usually do. Like I said, this recipe doesn’t really need meat. It has a ton of protein and flavor to it, as is, but if you are looking to add meat, here is what I recommend:
-Ground Beef (seasoned with Taco Seasoning)
-Shredded Chicken (love using rotisserie chicken)
-Grilled Chicken
-Ground Turkey (seasoned with Taco Seasoning)
-Steak
