I’ve been trying hard to eat healthier and I came up with this little baby. It is so simple and perfect for dinner or lunch.
I even doubled the turkey and froze it after I cooked it so it would be even easier to make for lunches the next week. Hope you love it as much as I did.
What could I use in place of the turkey?
I love ground turkey. It has a lot more healthy benefits, compared to ground beef. It is full of amazing flavor, and takes on the flavors of the seasoning nicely. You will love it.
We used ground turkey for this recipe, but it could easily be substituted. Here are a few other turkey substitute, recommendations:
-Shredded Chicken
-Grilled Chicken
-Steak
-Ground Beef
-Turkey Bacon
-Sausage (add egg and serve it for breakfast)
-Chicken Sausage
What toppings would be good on this wrap?
I am a huge topping person. Especially if I can sneak vegetables into my diet, without eating them plain, I am one happy girl. Here are a few of my favorite additions to these wraps:
- Lettuce
- Spinach
- Sprouts
- Cucumber Slices (sliced very thin)
- Carrot Shreds
- Celery (sliced very thin)
- Olive Slices
- Tomato
- Banana Peppers
- Avocado
- Jalapeno Slices (without the seeds)
- Plain Greek Yogurt
