Quick and simple is the name of the game these days. More of my favorite quick desserts for this summer are our no bake eclair cake recipe, grandma’s 5 cup creamy fruit salad recipe, and our raspberry cream cheese jello salad.

Time to whip up this 5 ingredient dessert!
To begin, start by spraying your 7 in springform pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Next, open up the cans of cherry pie filling and pour them directly into the bottom of the springform pan.
Now, sprinkle half of a box of yellow cake mix over top of the cherry pie filling. Try and spread it out enough to where none of the pie filling is showing.
Then you will need to cut the cold butter up into small pieces and place it on top of the cake mix, again trying to spread it out evenly.
Once all of that is in the pan, cover it tightly with aluminum foil. Be sure to seal the edges as best as you can to avoid extra moister getting in.
Now, at the bottom of the Instant Pot pour the water and then place the trivet inside with the handles pulled up along the edges.
After the trivet is in place, lower the pan onto the trivet and place the lid on the Instant Pot.
Turn the know to the “SEALING” position and press the “MANUAL” or “PRESSURE COOK” button and set the timer for 25 minutes.
When the timer is done, let the Instant Pot do a natural release for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes have passed, turn the know to the “VENTING” position to release any remaining steam.
Now, take the top off of the Instant Pot and carefully remove the pan from the inside (the sides will be hot) and remove the foil.
Now sprinkle it with sugar and place it in the boiler for 3 minutes on high or until the top begins to get crisp.
All that’s let to do is remove it from the broiler and serve it with ice cream or whipped cream and enjoy!
