When we were little, we loved sitting on the driveway and eat a Sunday Snack that our Mom made. A lot of times it was ice cream, but sometimes she would make other delicious treats.
Now that we are all grown up and moved out, we all still continue the tradition of eating on our driveways. Yesterday I made these Mini Peanut Butter Cup Trifles and they were a huge hit.
Eating outside on the driveway made them that much better.
They are so simple to make and full of delicious chocolatey peanut butter flavor. If you are looking for a quick dessert, that everyone is sure to love, you can’t go wrong with these bad boys.
Perfect for kids:
I love this recipe, because it’s a fun one for the kids to help out with. They are so easy to make and layer, and they are going to be delicious, no matter how messy they look.
If you need a quick and simple dessert, you know your kids will love, this one is perfect. That way, they can make it just how they like it.
You could also use paper or plastic cups, if you don’t want to risk using glass.
What could I replace the angel food cake with?
For this recipe, we used angel food cake. We did this because brownies seemed a bit rich for this dessert. However, you could easily use brownies, chocolate cake, peanut butter cake, Oreo cookies, etc.
You can really add any fun twist on it, that you desire, and it will still taste absolutely delicious, and be so easy to throw together. You could even use pre-made or bakery goods from your local grocery store, to have a cake base.
