I have a confession. Ever since I saw the baked cookies on the muffin tin on Pinterest, I knew I had to make them! It has been 2 years since I had seen it and I have actually tried it 3 times. Each time they would slide down the edge of the tin, spill everywhere and burn! Ha Ha! It was so bad. So after 3 fails I decided to give them one more try and they worked out perfect! They were so cute and my girls loved them!
Mini Sugar Cookie Cups:
Ingredients:
Pillsbury Ready to Make Pre-made Sugar Cookie Dough (there is a picture of it below)
Mini muffin tin
Cooking spray
1 cup of yogurt
1/2 cup of fruit
Whipping cream (optional)
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray the back side of your muffin tin. Spray it really well on all sides of the tin.
(YOU MUST USE COOKING SPRAY OR IT WILL NOT WORK)
Take one ball of cookie dough and split it in half. Roll the 1/2 chunk of dough into a ball.
Place the ball onto the top of a muffin tin and press down lightly so it is a little flat.
Cook for 8 to 12 minutes. Watch it closely! You do not want them to burn.
It will look like this when it is done cooking.
Because of the cooking spray, the edges will be a little crispy – but don’t worry – it can be fixed.
When it is done, take the cookies carefully off of the muffin tin. Very gently, crumble off the burnt edges and make them all even. Fill your cups with yogurt, whipped cream, and fruit on top.
You could also fill it with frosting or a cream cheese and cool-whip mixture.
Here is the exact cookie package I used. I have tried making my own dough and trying it and I cannot get it to work. I highly suggest using Pillsbury Ready to Bake Dough.
They really are the perfect little treat!
