A few weeks ago I was able to go to Orrville, Ohio. What is in Orrville you ask? SMUCKER’S.
When I first went to Smucker’s I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew they made jam, and ice cream toppings. I must say that they completely took me by surprise.
Smucker’s has so much going on that I had no idea about. I wanted to share all the information I learned, with you.
Smucker’s owns Jif, Pillsbury (the shelf products), Crisco, Adams Peanut Butter, Folgers, and many many more food companies.
But that wasn’t the thing that surprised me. It was their amazing employees. All of them were so kind, happy, and friendly. I felt like I was in Disneyland.
We were shown many products but I think my favorite one is called Jif Whips. I can’t even begin to describe how good it is.
You could use it as a fruit dip, as a peanut butter spread, or as an ingredient in a recipe.
I was playing around and decided to give it a shot in no bake cookies. I used the peanut butter and chocolate mint Jif Whip.
This is the perfect cookie for Christmas. You can find Jif Whips at your local grocery store.
(If you can’t find Jif Whips at the store you can find it HERE online – obviously, it is a lot cheaper at the store)
what do I use if I can’t find the mint Jif Whips?
If you are having a hard time finding the Mint Jif Whips, there is an easy replacement.
The recipe calls for 3/4 cup of Mint Jif Whips, however, if you don’t have that on hand, or can’t find it, you could also use creamy peanut butter and three drops of mint extract.
Mix the two together until it is completely combined, then continue to add it to the recipe.
the perfect holiday drinks to serve with cookies:
Don’t get me wrong, I love cookies and milk, but there are a few holiday drinks, that only come around this time of year, so you have to take advantage of them.
Here are a few of our favorite holiday beverages to drink with our favorite cookies. They are all alcohol free, and kid friendly, so everyone can enjoy the holidays.
Red Velvet Hot Chocolate: Just when red velvet couldn’t get any tastier, we turned it into hot chocolate, and you are going to love it. It is so creamy, and I love dipping cookies or brownies in it.
Instant Pot Apple Cider: You haven’t had apple cider until you try instant pot apple cider. This will blow you away. It tastes like Christmas in a cup.
Cranberry Citrus Party Punch: This is the BEST holiday punch recipe. It is so light and refreshing, and full of delicious cranberry flavor. You need to try this recipe.
Nutella Hot Chocolate: If you are anything like me, you like the rich with the rich. I don’t care what anyone says, there is no such thing as too much chocolate, and this hot cocoa, and the cookies, complement each other, perfectly.
