Being a busy college student, I am always on the go. When I am tired, or don’t have time to make myself breakfast, I just grab a few of these on my way out.
They are full of protein to keep me feeling full throughout my day, until I make it to lunch.
You are going to love how simple and delicious they are.
They are so easy to make, only take a few ingredients, and taste so yummy. It seriously tastes like Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough. Best breakfast ever.
what could i replace the raisins with?
I know that raisins aren’t always a fan favorite, but I personally love them.
If you are looking for a few alternatives to switch them out, here is what we recommend:
- Pecans
- Walnuts
- Sugar Free Chocolate Chips
- Almonds
- Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Cranberries
- Peanut Butter Chips
- Dried apple or banana chips (or any other dried fruit)
- Orange Zest
- Plain (meaning you don’t even need to add anything and it will still taste delicious).
what could i use in place of almond butter?
I am a huge almond butter lover. I’ll be honest, I hated almond butter at first, but now I can’t get enough of it.
If you haven’t tried it before, I recommend you try it. It has less strong of a taste, so it pairs nicely, especially with the other ingredients in this energy bite recipe.
However, if you don’t prefer almond butter, you could use peanut butter, cashew butter, or any other favorite nut butter.
