I am the biggest pizza fan. I literally crave it every day. It’s just something about that cheesy bread, smothered in sauce, and topped with all your favorite toppings, that just gets ya.
With it being the new year, I have been trying to eat a little better, and really accomplish my new years resolutions. However, pregnancy has it’s cravings, and the baby wants it’s pizza.
So I got to work and created a both healthier and delicious pizza option, that I think you are going to love. It is so easy to make and comes together in a matter of minutes.
It only requires a few simple ingredients, and a pre-made crust, so dinner is ready within minutes, and there is no need to wait on a delivery guy.
Your family is going to love this pizza.
steps to make the pizza:
Step 1: Spray your pizza crusts with non stick cooking spray. Let it settle into the crust, then add your sauce and cheese.
Step 2: Add your desired toppings. You can add more or less, or completely different toppings depending on what your family likes.
we personally prefer the chicken and bacon, with a few other fresh ingredients.
Step 3: Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until all the cheese is melted. Slice and serve. This pizza is so yummy.
make it your own
I chose to make a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, because it is my absolute favorite. I used a white based sauce, buy you could easily make any pizza.
I also love making a veggie pizza, with all my favorite veggies and use the same white based sauce, or marinara sauce.
You know what your family likes, so change what you need to to make it a family favorite.
what VEGETABLES could i sneak into this pizza?
Am I the only parent that sneaks vegetables into my kids foods, and breathe a sigh of relief when they don’t notice them in their food?
This pizza recipe would be a great way to sneak some veggies, into your little ones diets (or even your own).
Here are a few I recommend for this pizza (we also recommend cutting them up pretty small):
-Cucumber (sliced into small pieces. I promise you won’t taste them once they are cooked)
-Tomato
-Spinach
-Zucchini
-Olives
-Bell Peppers
You could really add any, and sneak them in as desired. Sometimes I hide it under the cheese, so they don’t even see they are there.

Frozen Chocolate and Peanut Butter Banana Bites
Skinny Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 premade whole wheat pizza crusts
- 2 cups light alfredo sauce
- ½ cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 ounce ranch seasoning mix, 1 packet
- 3 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 12 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- ½ red onion, diced
- ½ cup cilantro, diced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place pizza crusts on baking sheets and spray the top of the crusts with nonstick cooking spray. Allow it to soak in for a few minutes.
- In a bowl, combine the Alfredo sauce, plain Greek yogurt and ranch seasoning mix.
- Spread sauce evenly over pizza crusts and sprinkle half the cheese on each pizza.
- Sprinkle half the the shredded chicken, bacon crumbles, red onion and cilantro on each pizza.
- Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Remove from oven and cut into slices.
