I am a finger food person. I love eating bite size foods, off toothpicks. Things taste better, when they are bite size.
I love making these Taco Turkey Meatballs for appetizers, as well as a main dish. We serve them with spanish rice, a little sour cream, and a slice of green onion, and they make the perfect bite size appetizer.
These meatballs are great for game day, holiday parties, or if you need a fast dinner recipe. It is truly the perfect dish for any occasion, and is so easy to make.
what could I serve with these meatballs?
I am a huge meatball fan. Especially these Taco Turkey Meatballs. They taste like taco meat, but have way more flavor, and are way less guilt when made with turkey meat.
I love serving this dish with chips and salsa. I love our Chilis’ Copycat Salsa Recipe. You need to try it with these meatballs.
I also love serving this with our Mexican Street Corn Salad. It has such a delicious taste, and goes perfectly with these meatballs.
I am also a huge fan of Spanish or Mexican rice. you need to try our Mexican Salsa Rice Recipe.
The last thing I love serving with these taco meatballs, are just a simple green salad, with a good ranch. It’s a simple and cheap side dish, and it makes a taco salad, if you combine them. Delicious.
could i use ground beef instead of ground turkey?
You could most definitely use ground beef instead of ground turkey. I like ground turkey because it has less grease, and the flavor is also delicious to me. It tastes a little cleaner.
But I am still a beef lover and this recipe would work perfectly with ground beef instead of ground turkey.
