With soccer in full swing, we don’t have a lot of time to make dinner and have to eat dinner on the run a few nights a week.
These Turkey Bacon Avocado Wraps are perfect when you are in need of a quick meal or need to eat on-the-go.
They are healthy, easy to make, inexpensive when it comes to budget, and my kids and husband absolutely love them.
Life as a mom can get pretty busy, but it’s the simple meals like these Turkey Bacon Avocado Wraps, that make dinnertime possible. I feel way better about serving these for dinners, rather than going through a drive up.
what else could I add to the wrap?
The thing I love about wraps, is how easy they are to make your own and put your own twist on them. I love adding in a few extra veggies, or extra meat. Here are a few of my favorite wrap toppings and additional vegetables:
- shredded carrots
- banana peppers
- bell peppers
- black beans
- red onion
- olives
- beets
- spinach
- pepper jack cheese
healthy alternatives and replacements
This recipe is already pretty healthy, however, you could always make small tweaks and changes to make it even more healthy.
If the white tortilla worries you, you could also do a spinach tortilla, or a whole wheat one. We have also made a lettuce wrap with this recipe, and it was absolutely delicious.
If the bacon is a little concerning to you, you could also use turkey bacon, that is found near the pork bacon at the store.
If you aren’t a huge fan of the cream cheese spread, switch it out for some mustard, or a little bit of greek yogurt.
Did you know we have a Youtube Channel?
e sure do! It has hundreds of simple and delicious recipes, your family is going to love.
