Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
In a bowl, mix together apple pie filling, cider powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Pour mixture into bottom of pan and spread evenly.
Unwrap kraft caramels and cut them in half. Top apple mixture with caramels. You may not use the whole bag, we had a few leftover.
Top apples and caramel with yellow cake mix. Spread it evenly over all the mixture so everything is covered in the mix.
Cut butter into thin slices, make a layer over cake mix with thin butter, covering as much space as you can.
Top with cinnamon and sugar if desired.
Bake for 45 minutes or until cake begins to turn golden brown.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping, and of course, apple cider!

-You can find apple cider drink mix next to the hot chocolate mix. Choose your favorite flavor!
