You cannot go wrong with banana bread, especially when you are making your favorite banana bread recipe like this super moist, crazy delicious cream cheese banana bread made with simple ingredients.
Prep. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan liberally with baking spray.
Combine the dry ingredients. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt and set aside.
Cream. Beat the butter and sugar together on high speed until fluffy and significantly lightened in color.
Combine the remaining wet ingredients. Mix the egg into the butter mixture followed by the Greek yogurt. Mix in the vanilla.
Put it all together. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients followed by the bananas.
Make the cream cheese layer. Beat the cream cheese and sour cream together on high speed until smooth. Mix in the egg, sugar, vanilla, and flour.
Assemble. Pour ½ of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth it out. Pour the cream cheese layer on top and smooth it out. Do not mix the layers together. Pour the remaining batter over the cream cheese layer and smooth it out. Do not mix the layers together.
Bake. Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the banana bread comes out mostly clean.
