lean ground beef

(could also use ground turkey)

pinto beans

drained and rinsed

cup
chunky salsa

teaspoon
chili powder
½
teaspoon
cumin

shredded lettuce

tomato

diced
½
cup
sour cream

shredded Mexican cheese blend

chopped cilantro

Instructions
In a large skillet, brown ground beef; drain excess grease.
Add pinto beans, salsa, chili powder, and cumin to ground beef and stir until heated through.
Top each tostada with ground beef mixture, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, cheese, and cilantro.
Notes
You can substitute the ground beef for ground turkey in this recipe.
You can also use this ground beef filling for tacos, burritos, enchiladas, nachos, or even on top of a salad.
