In a large skillet, brown ground turkey and onion until turkey is no longer pink. Drain, then add in beans, taco seasoning, and salsa. Let simmer for about 5 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
Top each tortilla with meat, lettuce, sour cream, and cheese, along with fresh pico de gallo (if desired).
Notes
You could most definitely use ground beef instead of ground turkey in this recipe. Cook the recipe as directed in the instruction. Ground Beef usually cooks a tiny bit faster than ground turkey, so be sure to keep an eye on it, as you cook it.This could most definitely be made into a freezer meal. I wouldn’t prepare the tacos or the toppings, but you could definitely freeze the meat. I would recommend freezing the cooked meat for up to three months.
