Slow Cooker Ham and Pineapple Sandwiches Recipe
Ham and pineapple come together and simmer all day, then serve on toasted buns and topped with cheese.

diced cooked ham

canned crushed pineapple

brown sugar

green bell pepper

diced

onion

Dijon mustard

Tablespoon
dried minced onion

Swiss cheese slices

Instructions
Spray your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
Add all ingredients in the slow cooker and stir together.
Cook on low heat for 3 hours or until completely heated through.
Serve by scooping sandwich filling on a large hamburger bun (or bun of your choice).
Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the ham and put them under the broiler for a minute or until the cheese is melted.
Notes
Serve these with
Baked Sweet Potato Wedges
and some fresh fruit for a perfect family dinner!
To make into a Freezer Meal:
Place all ingredients into a resealable
gallon-sized freezer bag
. Mix together in bag and zip closed.
When ready to eat, remove from freezer and place in a non stick sprayed
slow cooker
. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 5 to 6 hours.
Serve on hamburger buns with your favorite cheese. I love Swiss and ham together.
Serve with chips and your favorite side salad.
